Community Advantages Sports Coaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young athletes. We recognise the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment that protects them from harm, abuse, and neglect. We will:
- Identify and assess risk: We will identify potential risks and take steps to mitigate them.
- Respond to concerns: We will respond promptly and effectively to concerns or allegations of abuse or neglect.
- Provide training and support: We will provide training and support to staff and volunteers to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in safeguarding.
- Work with other agencies: We will work collaboratively with other agencies, particularly LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer) and organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.
We are committed to upholding the principles of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals, and we will review and update our policies and procedures regularly to ensure they remain effective.
